Woodland native that thives in moist, fertile soil.

Bright yellow-orange, ruffled blooms show their splender from March to June & might intermittently bloom throughout summer. Deadheading encourages continual blooming. Blue-green notched basel leaves add a unique display of greenery all season long. The yellow-orange sap that is produced by this plant was used by Native Americans as dye. Grows 12-18 inches tall.

Great for mass plantings.

Attracts bees.
