Clump forming native with clusters of bluish-purple, 3-petaled flowers ontop erect, smooth stems. Dark bluish-green, grass-like foliage is folded lengthwise forming a groove. Adaptable to a wide range of soils such as dry to medium to wet.

Tolerant to clay & gravel.

Can self-seed rapidly. Best for naturalized areas.

Blooms in full sun May-July. Tolerant to light shade.
