Cheerful native that features yellow daisy-like flowers with yellow center disks. Flowers perch on slender upright stems that rise above foliage clumps. Blooms in full sun May-July.
Deadheading encourages additional blooms, otherwise they will freely self-seed. Grows 1-2ft tall in dry to medium soil.
Thrives in well-drained poor, sandy, rocky soils.
Attracts butterflies & is deer resistant.
