Beautiful woodland native. In early spring bright lavender flowers appear perched on delicate stems, rising above beautiful mounded foliage. Clumps spead over time creating a nice groundcover that retains attractive greenery all season long.

Prefers shade to partial shade, but can grow in sun in rich, consistantly damp soil 

When grown in shade, wild geraniums prefer sand, loam, dry to medium soil

Grows 1-2 ft tall 

Blooms May-June 

Spreads by rhizomes 

Provides early spring nectar for pollinators
