Beautiful woodland native. In early spring bright lavender flowers appear perched on delicate stems, rising above beautiful mounded foliage. Clumps spread over time creating a nice ground cover that retains attractive greenery all season long.

Prefers shade to partial shade, but can grow in sun in rich, constantly damp soil. When grown in shade, wild geraniums prefer sand, loam, dry to medium soil. Grows 1-2 ft tall. 

Blooms May-June 

Spreads by rhizomes.

Provides early spring nectar for pollinators.
