Native ephemeral that thrives in woodland gardens with moist well-drained soil. 

In spring, clusters of nodding blooms rise above basel leaves & can appear in a range of colors from pink to lavender to white.

Foliage acts as a groundcover growing 6 inches long & 2 inches wide. 

Grows 20 inches tall in partial shade.

Plants will go dormant midsummer, but will reappear in spring.

Attracts bees such as bumblebees, queen bees, long-horned bees, & green matallic bees. Deer resistant.
