Large, rigid, course leaves form a cup at the base of the leaf & stem.

Cups collect rainwater attracting birds, treefrogs, & insects.

Flowers are a nectar source for butterflies & bees.

Blooms in full sun July-Sept.

Grows 5-8ft tall in medium to wet soil.

Tolerant to clay.

Great for rain gardens.

This plant can get very large and take over an area over time.

Not suitable for small gardens.

Sold in 2x3" pots.
