Woodland native prized for it's very showy clusters of indigo berries & dark blue-green foliage. Once small intricate flowers fade, green berries develop, turning vibrant blue & persisting through fall into winter. Foliage then fades to vibrant green-gold hues.

Berries are a good food source for birds.

Prefers organically rich soil with consistant moisture.

Spreads slowly by rhizomes.
