Lush forest groundcover with heart shaped leaves. Unique red flowers bloom in early spring at the base of the stems. The slow spreading, but dense root system eventually creates a beautiful network of greenery.

Grows 1-2 ft tall dry to medium soil.

Soil types include clay, loam & sand.

Ants help spread ginger by eating the fleshy noduals around the seeds & discarding them through out the woodland floor.
